Robert Crook founded Ironvest Partners on three key principles: teamwork, the golden rule, and long-term partnerships. He truly has a passion for his business and to coin a phrase, “he tap dances to work every day.” He has a true enthusiasm for thinking outside of the box in putting together investment deals and making the hard sale or lease come to fruition. Robert is considered the leading expert in city center real estate due to his target market being geographically focused in Birmingham’s urban core and his volume of completed transactions. He will research off-market possibilities and co-op with other agencies to reach the optimum goal of his clients. You can call Robert a “real estate nerd” and he will take that as a compliment!

Robert was born and raised in Birmingham and is a fourth-generation commercial real estate broker in the Birmingham area. He is a graduate of Auburn University with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Robert serves his community as a board member of M-Power Ministries and teaching a high school boys bible study at Trinity United Methodist Church. He and his wife Anna attend Redeemer Community Church in Avondale. In his spare time Robert enjoys traveling, watching sports, playing golf, and being outdoors.

Industry Recognition

Robert was awarded “Rookie of the Year” by the Birmingham Commercial Real Estate Council in 2013 and has received the million-dollar sales club distinction each year thereafter. In 2014 Robert completed his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. In 2017, Robert received 2nd place for Top Producer of Sales and Leasing by the Birmingham Commercial Realtors Council, where he continues to qualify as a life member. In 2017, Robert obtained his Broker’s license. In 2020 Robert was elected board member of the local NAIOP Chapter.
