Ironvest Partners is a young and entrepreneurial commercial real estate firm headquartered in Birmingham, AL. Our office is located downtown in one of our own historic, adaptive reuse developments. The company was founded on the principle of “as iron sharpen iron one man sharpens another.” We believe that business is a team effort and by working together, we are all stronger. Adding value for our clients in our top priority.
Our main business is providing 3rd party brokerage services. We concentrate in buyer and seller representation but also perform some tenant representation and landlord leasing. We also have an investment portfolio of deals we have procured and developed. Our deal flow consists of office, retail, light industrial, and land transactions. Our target market and the majority of our transactions are in the city center of Birmingham, but we perform transactions throughout the state of Alabama.
We are currently seeking an independent contractor sales agent. This individual should exhibit the following characteristics:
- Above all, honest and full of integrity.
- A strong belief in the Golden Rule.
- Enjoys building long term relationships, by networking, being curious about other people, and having great communication skills.
- Highly motivated and competitive to achieve goal-oriented results. Willing to put in the time and effort to win. Always looking to improve and is open to honest coaching. Is willing to assert oneself when agent sees an opportunity or a better way.
IVP will provide a direct mentoring program where the new agent will receive assistance with goals, planning, and organization. The individual will get to shadow an experienced sales agent with guidance on how to be a successful and professional sales agent. This is an opportunity to get on the ground floor of a young and growing firm.

A few of the tasks that will be required are cold calling, attending networking functions, drafting letter of intents, revising leases/sales contracts, touring properties, completing market research/surveys, negotiating deals, and drafting investment proformas.
